How's this for a mod!
"The HAL is a cube server case that was decommissioned by one of my customers. I took the old server home. It was only a Pentium III 800, so I orphaned the parts and set the case in my shop and just kept looking at it over the next two weeks. I decided what I could budget and what I had to beg for. The first thing I did was paint the case black. I watched the movies 2001 and 2010 a couple of times and came up with my concept of the HAL core from the pod bay which looked like an old console TV super-sized."
