Google and T-Mobile have announce a partnership, claiming that there are plans underway to preset the T-Mobile customer mobile web browser homepage to Google's site. T-Mobile claims that this will permit mobile Internet surfers to have the award-winning Google search engine at their disposal. The two companies will also work together on joint marketing activities aimed at high-level marketing of mobile access to the free Internet.
"T-Mobile and Google Inc. will be working in close cooperation in the future to provide the new web’n’walk services. The objective is to improve user-friendliness, increase the advantages and boost the speed of Internet access when using the net via T-Mobile cell phones. With web’n’walk, T-Mobile is offering customers attractive service packages for mobile access to the World Wide Web. These packages include innovative cell phones, rapid mobile data transmission and tempting prices."
