"Sprint and Nextel today released the details of how each company as well as the merged unit will be branded. Although the company will be called Sprint Nextel after the merger, the company will primarily use the Sprint brand. However the Sprint logo will be completely revamped using Nextel's gold and black colors, a new font, and a greatly revised "pin drop" icon. In advertising, the new logo will often feature a "Together with Nextel" tagline. The merged company will continue using the Nextel brand for the iDen network and handsets for the foreseeable future. Nextel's logo will remain the same, merely adding a "Together with Sprint" tagline below the Nextel name."
