Verizon To Launch Music Downloads



Reports hint that Verizon is set to unveil a music download service for VCAST next week. The carrier has already been testing the service and early reviews are quite positive. This summer Verizon revealed they intended to launch by year's end and that the LG VX8100 would be compatible with it. As of yet there is no indication whether the service will be dual download for both phone and PC like similar offerings from Amp'd and Sprint. However one press conference indicates Microsoft will also be present at the announcement which could mean that Verizon will offer PC downloads to Windows Media Player as well.
