NEC to Offer Water-Cooled Desktop PCs

Water cooling is now beginning to enter the PC manufacturing mainstream. It's been a very enthusiast-only or enterprise-only cooling solution for a while, but as desktop CPUs continue to ramp up power consumption and noise becomes an increasing concern, manufacturers are having to look to things behind the outmoded method of air cooling. NEC is now including, by default, a water cooling setup complete with radiator built into the chassis, in their new Valuestar G series. They start at around $925 USD sporting a dual-core Celeron, and have configurations going up from there. It is always nice to see big names supporting good technology. This particular model can apparently sit at 100% load and still remain at 30 dB or lower.
